Event Purpose
The United Way of Forsyth County, through its African American Leadership Society (AALS), is proud to announce a powerful and unprecedented gathering: “Celebrating Women Clergy in Forsyth County.” This, first of its kind, event will recognize and honor the leadership of women faith leaders who are lifting lives, guiding congregations, and mobilizing communities in the fight against generational poverty.

Nominate a Woman Faith Leader Today
We are calling on our faith partners across Forsyth County to help us identify and celebrate the women who lead prayers, people, and purpose-driven projects, those whose spiritual leadership supports the most vulnerable among us and helps shift the cycle of poverty for generations to come.​
Eligibility for Nomination
Nominations are open to women who serve in religious leadership roles at a House of Worship or Faith Institution in Forsyth County. This includes – but is not limited to – Pastors, Associate Pastors, Ministers, Priests, Purohits, Rabbis, Chaplains, Evangelists, lay representatives, or any primary leader of a faith community or tradition.​
Deadline: Friday, June 6, 2025
Please complete and submit the nomination form by this date to ensure your leader is considered for recognition.​​​
Celebrate Your Nominee
Following the nomination period, we will share details on how to:
· Secure tickets ($35.00)
· Purchase an ad or tribute for the commemorative journal
· (Full: $150, Half: $75; Quarter: $50)
· Join us in honoring women whose ministries uplift Forsyth County in profound and lasting ways
